Ever wonder why the skin on your neck is darker than your other skin? Or maybe it is the skin in your groin area that is darker? This disease is called Acanthosis Nigricans, and has been associated in people with Hidradenitis Suppurativa. Acanthosis Nicgricans, Insulin Resistance have been found to be related in HS patients.
A lot of HS sufferers have or have had the Pilonidal Cyst. Many have had the Pilonidal Cyst before their HS, while others have the Pilonidal Cyst after their HS starts.
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is linked with Hidradenitis Suppurativa, you do not have to have the cysts to have the Syndrome. Men you can have a problem too obviously not the same as the women.
